The local weatherforecast for the Berget week is cloudy and part rainy during the first days. The temprature is aprox. during daytime 14-18 degrees. At night sometimes below 8 degrees.

Please prepare yourself with a good sleepingbag that can manage tempratures down to 5 degrees.

Please also bring spare warm clothes to have when drying wet clothes.

The areas marked in red on the map are very dangerous cliffs and we want you to avoid these areas as much as possible. We suggest that all commanders and officers download this map and use it when planning routes during Berget 6.

All cliffs are not marked on the map, but the most dangerous ones are.

To avoid missunderstandings, we want all participants bringing a in-game vehicle to mark their vehicle with the TEAM-color on the windshield or with a flag.

We would like all players to think twice before bringing large knives during your stay in Sweden. If you are going into town leave all weapons and knives. It is prohibited by law to wear knives in public.

Also have in mind that police officers who go out to the gaming area can find you threatening if you are wearing a knife.

To avoid any incidents, use common sense and choose a practical and small knife. Preferably choose to wear it on your belt or in your backpack.

During previous Berget games we noticed that some players used instant healing during combat. This is cheating and means that they don't apply field dressing and just toutches eachother's hand to heal the wounded.

Please respect the rules! Only medics can heal and they must apply a field dressing for 120 seconds atleast.

Please don't forget to create and bring your orange wounded-flag to Berget 6. Make sure the size is atleast 30x20 cm.

In large firefights when you are shot, there can be several hundred people involved in the firefight. That means that when you are shot and laying on the ground other opponents that arrives to scene shoots you again without knowing you are hit. This is avoided by having the flag on your head or waving it. Always raise your wounded-flag when walking to Safe-zone or re-spawn.

Finally we can present the new Berget anti-tank system v1.0

There are some missions where our Berget v2.0 Tanks will be involved. To destroy these tanks at range you will need to use an AT4 antitank weapon.

The AT4´s will be handed out by each teams commander and needs to be signed for. You can't bring your own ATguns and don't email us about how you get one. Your commander will devide them before missions.

They are expensive but work very well compared to previous paintball systems.

The AT4 is build upon a IR-cryptated system. Kind of the same as the military SIMFIRE uses. They can shoot up to 60 meters in daylight and even further at night.

All Berget Tanks will have IR sensors around the tower, so you will need to aim at the middle of the tower to be sure of hitting it.

There are more sensors at the back of the tower so if you hit the tank in the back there is greater chance of destroying it. Tanks will have 2 hit points. The first one will make it stop and the second will destroy it.

The AT4 have a 15-second reloadtime. When its ready to fire a green light will be lit. You can only fire 10 shots. Then the AT weapon must be reloaded by a Gamemaster.

It is strictly forbidden to be under the influense of drugs during gametime on Berget6. Players who do not comply to this rule will be banned from the game permanently

The limit for alcohol will be "0.3 ‰ “ and all caught using or carrying drugs illegal by Swedish law will be turned into local law enforcement and cannot return to the game.

We find all use of unsuscribed drugs to be an example of poor judgement and disrespect towards your fellow airsofter, security in the field is a common responsibility.

Crew will make unannounced tests in the field, cooperate and remember that we are doing this for everyones security.

Berget-Events will only allow these partners to sell/market products during the game. No other sales/marketing will be allowed on or around the safe zones and the gaming area.

Players caught selling/marketing any products will immediately be banished from the game and thrown off the gaming area. Also, they will be banned from all future games arranged by Berget-Events, both as players and/or partners.

There is full activity on our forums, commanders for all sides are planning, organizing and making platoon list´s of all players and teams.

Please join the private forumparts for your specific TEAM-side. When you get access, you can find maps and a list with your personal ID that are suposed to be written on your armband.

The successful applicant will have a quiet authority about him/her, will have experience with leadership (military or civilian), and will speak fluent English. Swedish is a bonus, but by no means a requirement. Airsoft biggame experience is needed. You will play ingame commander and you will lead and organize the Mercenarys together with Berget crew.

When booking your roundtrip to Berget 6 please keep this in mind;

When flying to Sweden you will arrive at Stockholm Airport (Arlanda). The transport option we provide is from Sundsvall airport (Midlanda).

So you need to book a connectionflight from Stockholm to Sundsvall where we pick you up (and leave you after the game).

If you book in advance the price is about 30 EURO one way for this connection flight.

A function that allows you to login using your ticket-id and password will be implemented in a few days. Some of the features are:

Ticket transfer:
Ability to transfer your ticket to another person via a form will save time for both you and us. After applying for a transfer, we receive a notice and will after reviewing the request accept or deny the transfer.
Both the current owner and the new one will receive confirmation emails with status updates.

Thursday is the day for the release of the final tickets to Berget 6, held in June 2008. After the final release, we will not sell any more tickets. This is therefore your final opportunity to get your hands on the last tickets to what will probably be the worlds largest airsoft game of the year.

When dealing with ingame-civilians during Berget 6, you will have to know the "Rules of engagement". No mater what side you are playing on.

Civilians, Smugglers and Bandits will all wear a green/white armband. They are not taking part in the conflict but can still play a important part of the game.

Try to interact with them, some will have access to vital information, maps and equipment. There will even be missions where you will have to buy/trade "equipment" from them.

"Rules of engagement" are "only fire, if fired upon."

Please keep this in mind.

UN and Nato will try to apprehend/ arrest armed civilians, Conrads Mercs and SRP will try to recruit them.

We have received several inquires from players who want to bring their own tents to Berget 6. We have decided that players who wish to do so are allowed, under the condition that the tents fill the listed requirements below:

(This concerns only those who want to bring their own tents.)

- The tent must be a military tent for at least twelve people.
- The tent must be OD or green camouflage.
- You will raise the tent in an area designated to you.
- Tents must be clearly marked with team name and what company and platoon the team belongs to.

Base staff will show you the right location for your tent.

The tent must be approved by Berget-events beforehand. Therefore send a picture and information of the tent to info@berget-events.com.

Some of you have not payed your booked tickets. The last payment day have passed. But we have chosen not to delete any unpaid bookings during Christmas.

However we will soon remove all unpaid bookings and sell them to other players waiting in line to get a ticket.

We have chosen to use our previous C4 solution as "sticky bombs" to demolish objects. Those of you who attended B5 have seen these and some of you might have been issued these in a previous game. Information about these will be provided to all of the players but only engineers/trustees may use them during the game. Briefing and instructions of use will be held on site.

We will use a 10x5x5cm square piece of Styrofoam. Inside this square mock-up of a piece of plastic explosives a small firecracker will be placed. This will be used to simulate taking out vehicles, force open armored doors and other objects such as towers and bunkers. On the back of these mock-ups we will put a piece of double sided tape that will make it possible to fixate it on any surface. After an object has been demolished the engineer will "mark" it as destroyed by leaving a prefabricated note on the vehicle windshield or object. If there is a game master/trustee around he or she can declare this.

• These explosives may not be thrown!
  
• They cannot be placed on a moving vehicle!
  
• They can only be used by ingame engineers who have been authorized to use them!
  
• You are only allowed to use “explosives” issued by Berget Events!
  
• If you need to “demolish” a car don’t place the bomb on or under the vehicle but on the ground beside it. This concerns all of the in-game vehicles except the "Airsoft-tanks" provided by Berget Events.
  
• The firecracker emits sparks and can cause a fire, check the surrounding area after the detonation!
  
• Before setting off a piece of explosives, call out –Fire in the hole! And make sure that everyone within a thirty meter radius covers their ears and that everyone stays outside a ten meter radius from the blast.
  

Anyone who diverts from the rules above will be held accountable.

If you booked a ticket yesterday. Please check the steps below.

1. Check the players list. (on the menu to the left). If your name is there and you have received payment-email. You are Ok and you can pay your ticket.

2. If you can't see your name on the list, please forward the confirmation emails back to us at info@berget-events.com. We will correct all the team-bookings as they come and you will receive a new payment email and ticket-id from us within 1-5 days. (Don't pay until the new ticket-id arrives.)

3. If you can see some of your teammates, you can pay for the ones that are shown in the list. Forward the missing player confirmation e-mails back to us at info@berget-events.com

4. If your name is missing from the players list and you have not received any payment-email. Please rebook your tickets from the menu to the left.

Extra ticket-slots are released to sort this problem out.

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience!

There have been reported issues with some team bookings not showing up on the list. The tickets are however getting properly booked and confirmation emails are sent out.

Ok folks, only three days left and we are getting hundreds of emails from people with questions regarding the ticket's. The bookingsystem is updated and huge overbooking is no longer possible.

Please also remember to read and learn the rules before Friday, there will be test questions in the booking to confirm that you understand the rules. (If you miss this release your last chance will be in januari 2008).

After negotiations with a local computer company, Berget-events are proud to announce that we will have a fully operational Internetcafé and wireless connection in the main safezone.

This means that players can borrow computers or logon to a WIFI network with their own laptops for a small fee. This service will be avaible 09:00 - 03:00 all days during the event.

It’s only 11 days left untill we will release the next batch of tickets for Berget 6, please keep in mind that the tickets have a nasty habbit of running out very quickly.

We will sell 250 – 350 tickets in the next release depending on how many tickets that are payed and ready.

Tickets will be released the 30th of November 20:00 CET (GMT +01:00).

A programing error in the booking system made it possible for more than 300 players to book tickets.

Of course we will take full responsibility for this, all bookings paid before the 30th of November are valid. They will pay the announced price of 48€. We apologize for the inconvenience and congratulate all who acquired tickets, even thought there were more of you than we planned.

This error will be solved until the next ticket release.

My Name is Mattias Hamouchi, I am the newly appointed projectleader for 2008's years largest airsoft-event, Berget 6. Together with the rest of our crew I hope not only to make it one of the biggest, but also one of the best events this year. My biggest goal will be to correct the mistakes made on Berget 5 and make sure they are not repeated. I will put more focus on your gaming experience and make sure the logistics run smothly and are to your satisfaction. This will be done with a significantly larger, and much more organised crew. Our previous logistical problems will be solved by outsourcing them to contractors.

With this said I hope to see you all on Berget 6, I promise to do my best in making it the airsoft experience of the year.
