Re: BAVS Suggestions
I definitely don't agree with the realism aspects of your comments in regards to the AT4. It is a means to an end. That is, to give infantry a fair chance against vehicles. Reduced range and beam-width on the AT-4. Currently it's possible to hit multiple vehicles at extremely long ranges. Realistica...

Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes
Good update! Will be interesting to hear how you want to manage chrono at check in.
Also, out of curiosity. Since you seem to have taken drag into account. Have you done any studies to determine the drag coefficient of the BB or is it based on the theoretical value of a sphere?

Re: Practicality of a GBBR for Berget
Berget has a 100 bb maximum for magazines on regular rifles. So that is no issue.

Re: HPA and the future
Majk, his readings are probably not off. I've seen similar ones before. It depends on a lot of factors, like barrel length, air pressure, hop-up setting, bore diameter. The serious thing here is that if you tweak these parameters, you can have an even larger difference in the readings and it would s...

Re: Feedback: Berget Anti-Vehicle system (BAVS)
Regarding noise. Our AT4 made noises when reloading. And our 40 mm granades had both noise and lightning effects. I think that the new BAVS equipment is built this way, but there is still a lot of old configurations that have not been upgraded or exchanged yet.

Re: HPA and the future
I agree that this is not a HPA-specific issue. The use of HPA and gas guns just amplify this flaw. The safety rules are very outdated against what we know now (energy creep, etc.). I agree that chronoing with the heaviest weight for the class would be a good idea. It is also relatively simple to imp...

Re: Feedback: Berget Anti-Vehicle system (BAVS)
Ran a BAVS AT4 this year, just like last year. It generally works very well. Unlike last year however, we had rain. My AT4 managed to fog up on the inside of the lens, I did not however get to see the affect this had on range and accuracy as I did not take any long range shots after this. It would p...

Re: Practicality of a GBBR for Berget
Hard to tell. You always end up in situations where you run out, not every fight, but it happens. I think that the situation is the same, even if you play with an AEG and carry ten mid caps. Had 4 mags with 40 bbs each the time I've run GBBRs at Berget. It's an ok balance, but you will always be the...

Re: Practicality of a GBBR for Berget
As usual with GBBRs, ammo capacity is a limiting factor. I've run a KWA MP9 on two Berget. I think it works fine. If you manage to play with it during a regular weekend game, you should manage now too. Evening and night temperatures may be a factor if you have a sensitive rifle as well, but it's usu...

Re: Reasoning for new ghillie rules?
I have personally been pushing for a clarification. See here: viewtopic.php?f=97&t=8297
Guess that is part of the reason. I welcome the official stance, although I would have preferred more flexible rules. I do however see the point in keeping it simple.

S: Ticket Berget 15 - UPIR Heavy Weapon and Demolition unit
One of my teammates won't make it this year, so he's selling his ticket. Asking price is € 110, nothing extra included in the ticket. The transfer fee is paid by the buyer.

Re: Revise the "knife rule"?
If you are taking out an incapacitated soldier in the field, I see no need for a physical knife, which is the major use of the knife rule. In reality, this could be done with any means at hand, most likely with another round, or strangling, stones, barrel of the rifle etc. If we are talking about tr...

Re: The new "Forts" FAD & Oilrefinery
Nothing against nightops, it just had too much impact as of now. Consider this: Daytime, fort guarded by a small force (or none) gets attacked and taken. The attackers now have to hold it against the other team, which will make it it's main priority to reclaim it (or otherwise pretty much all missio...

Re: The new "Forts" FAD & Oilrefinery
Overall liked it. I however dislike that they were active during the night, at least with the way they worked now. Nobody wants guard duty during the night, and capturing it had a HUGE impact on the game. Was pretty lame to wake up to an entirely blue map because people want to sleep. Either have it...

Re: Capturepoints & Mission
Had access to the map. It seemed to work very well throughout the event, even on my bad internet connection (used all my data, capped download speed). As mentioned before, the ability to see active respawns is needed. Both locally, at the actual respawn, and a light version of the map( unless you ha...
