Re: RIP Wasp

Oh no  He was a great guy and my dear friend. One of the most easily approachable persons I have ever met. I have spent great time with him in past Bergets. Last time I saw him was B12, after the last fight. We were on opposite teams, but we met, laughed and hugged  I will miss him a lot. ...

Berget 10 year veteran badges

Any idea when we are going to get those veteran badges via mail? We filled list in the shop to the list with our addresses and other details to receive the badge via mail. At least I haven't received the badge yet.

Re: Feedback - General

Most of the thing have already been said, but here is some of my thoughts: 1. Balance. This year this was a huge issue. But I get it, it's hard to balance the game before the game because it can only be balanced by the number of players going to each side. After that, it's really hard. I understand ...

Re: Deleted Posts

NightSinner is correct. It is really frustrating and same time disappointing that BE states that they want to choose the commanders etc well in time to have them proper time to prepare. But after that everything is late. I literally mean every little thing that the commander needs to get to actually...

Re: General Questions

Well it does, but it has been approved previous years. The flame is contained pretty well compare to Trangia. Still, use it on a hard surface and don't tip it. It's more safe option vs Trangia, esbits. If you want to play safe, buy those heater packs and MREs.

Re: General Questions

Hi, this is my first Berget event and I feel that the website is lacking some information on certan topics. I want to know how what kind of food I can bring to Berget, and what kind of cooking appliances will be avaliable at the event. No appliances, you need to bring your own cooking equipment. Yo...

Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes

Ok, duly noted.

How about the DMR case? Majk message states that DMR must have full stock. So that statement sticks, or are you prepared to reconsider the retractable stock to be allowed?

Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes

The issue, once again, is NOT real world vs airsoft to makie it as accurate as possible. The issue is that people have abused Light short machine guns because it, in airsoft, doesnt have any drawbacks but you gain a ton of advantages. They are then running around with it as any assault rifle. The s...

Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes

This is getting too difficult... I understand the long barrel requirement, but no collapsible stocks? For example, real world MK12, a DMR rifle: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3a/SPRCrane.jpg Then for the machine guns: MK46 LMG has a collapsible butt stock and a short barrel. G&P f...

Re: no gear in the sleeping tents

If you are using tent bed, you can store some of your stuff under the bed. There are restrictions what kind of bed you can bring. Otherwise, we have every year constructed a small wicket or a shelter next to the tent to store our stuff there. I mostly store my food (in a backpack) in the shelter, si...

Re: How do you transport your mine

I have also thought that anyone can carry mines, only Engineers can install / dismantle mines. This would be logical since it's not actually handling if you carry something :D

Re: BB weight and joule creep

Only thing that changes is that BE needs to reorganize and rethink how to do the chrono pregame with minimal effort to them and to us, players. Think to change a system that has been used for so many years, and if it works, why change it? But as I mentioned above, it's NOT working, due to faulty re...

Re: BB weight and joule creep

Wait what? Industry standard? It's still a goddamned big issue to get this regulated. So I do understand the problems seen by Berget crew. In the Netherlands its still a hot issue, and they just throw it in you face and push it as an rule without proper motivation. I do understand the basic idea bu...

Re: BB weight and joule creep

This is an ongoing discussion within the team, but it is not as easy as people Think - And people will Always cheat if they want to cheat. You can come to chrono with a different BB than what you will actually use etc etc. But the Joule method is the "industry" standard nowadays. Your system is ver...
