Re: Airsoft rockets
safety, safety and yet again safety. Cool project but could be very unsafe My thesis included a study of medical literature to determine the thresholds for medical safety. The rocket as seen in the clip has all the performance characteristics of a safe-for-humans-rocket, except for the nosecone (th...

Re: Revise the "knife rule"?
For LARP purposes, it would be advisable to need an object that can be found during a search and needs to be manipulated in order to perform a knifekill. Someone without a knife shouldn't be able to do a knifekill, or shaking someone's hand, saying 'knifekill' and then showing a knife in your back p...

Re: Turning against friendly units
Outstanding. I think this is excellent news. Me an my team mates has regarded team killing due to some LARP guys create their own missions as a non sanctioned actions which can be discarded. If this stuff is to work there must be some kind of mission card from Berget-Event or a berget official near...

Re: Turning against friendly units
Asymmetric warfare has been a staple of Red operations for years, and is something conventional forces face just as well in real life. I understand that it is annoying, maybe even frustrating, to encounter. We had a similar issue on B13, which resulted in _every_ vehicle being denied access to the b...

Re: BAVS Heavy weapon unit TOW or TANK weapon
Given the fact that the TOW missile has roughly 10 times as much explosives as an AT4 (3.9 - 6.14kg, depending on warhead versus 440g), will the ingame TOW launcher be considerably stronger than the AT4?

Re: Turning against friendly units
Correct me if I'm wrong, but do not the rules forbid others that the owner of a vehicle to drive it (or a person that is appointed to drive that vehicle)? So hijacking a vehicle would be against the rules both in the way that you are driving a vehicle that is not yours to drive or if you convince t...

Re: UPIR Mech - Only class 5 vehicles?
Class 5 is ... a bit much.
I think I've only seen 1 or 2 vehicles fitting that description over past events.
/edit: player-brought vehicles, that is
But hey, this is the game area where a 95% dismounted force put foot to ass, so it might work even with an uneven distribution of mechanised forces.

Re: GENERAL FEEDBACK
One of the main problems were that NAF recon elements were not allowed early access. It would be blatantly stupid do go in before we have some intel. We had the same problem last year (while we were supposed to be in control of the country) so it made more sense to have the already present forces g...

Re: GENERAL FEEDBACK
I know the story that the blue team was kind of coming to the land what was already conquered by the red team, but c'moon please don't let them make ambush for us in our home door the only road you can get off from our base. Not cool at all. In order to simulate the UPIR forces already in the count...

Probably the moment when I realised my HQ had a slide leading almost perfectly into it.
Yeah, we had an unconventional headquarters :p

Re: Capturepoints & Mission
The missions were excellent and made perfect sense in the storyline. At times a few extra would've been nice, at other times we had a bit too many at once.
All in all, I was very happy with the missions.

I did not notice anything resembling double agents, only got shot once by accident when people were dicking around at my HQ (which happened a lot, tbh)

CHECKPOINTS
In order to be able to secure the base with the minimum amount of personnel (so that we can place as many in the field as possible), the base may only be entered through certain checkpoints. These will be the entrances linking up to the main road. Any and all personnel that tries to enter the base a...
