Re: The handling of civilians by Blue Forces in the past

Possibly it has to do with Red being run for the last couple of years by 6mm, whos core members are all old LARPers, in fact most of us met at a Mad Max-type LARP back in 1995 in Sweden. I guess this leads us to take LARPing more serious than others.

+1 on the above, besides, without a good HQ the game tends to detorriate for all players...

Re: The logistics

There was supposed to be but never materialized. We used a private wifi hot spot for such things at HQ. Problem was only when i wasnt there, there was no wifi either...

Re: Berget 13 video thread

If one of my players run out to defend the base when attacked, in underwear but without armband, i will cover his back all the way if there is any discussion bout it.

Re: GCT Para Inf HQ debrief

I heard GCT (maybe not para?) got to choose wich base to live in, and opted for the one that was theirs in-game. Any truth to this rumour?

Re: Debriefing Berget 13.

Thank you Igariokas. Now, in the interest of balancing the game, I volunteer to go into detail how we operate and important pointers pre-game, so that the command team that will run the opposition next year will get off for a somewhat easier task. While some will say this is giving away secrets and ...

Re: Debriefing Berget 13.

The photos and some of the feedback on the forums seems to indicate that RedFor was faced with the same lack of overall command but rolled with the punches better and were able to mitigate the issue. I can with 100% certainty say that this was not the case amongst the three military parts (Minerva ...

Re: Radios and communication

+1 on that, we had the same scenario at HQ, being able to recieve from Krasnovo with both improvised 3m whip antenna or a standard forrest antenna. But sending was a problem when the reciever only had a standard antenna. Forrest antennas cost like 20€ or something, so no big investment...

Re: Less missions this year.

each Teams were oranisied by their own, very less working together... That's your problem right there, lad. No comms between battalions mean no organisation of your own missions. Our base assault? Joint operation. Insertion of SAM sites on your side of the border? (gigetty) Joint operation. Extract...

Re: The CP points

What wormbyte said. Get supply points that can be handed in by the commander to get stuff from GM, like transports, that last part for the nuke, arty strikes, Temporary spawn point etc... And i like the idea of taking a CP permanently. But would up the time to 8 hours. Remember footsloggers are slow...

Re: Radios and communication

For years, 6mm has used radio strictly as a intra-platoon fire net. Occasionally when the whole batalion operated together, we have a command net down to company XO and special platoons. The norm is GSM for HQ down to platoons and special squads/teams. WhatsApp group chat was used this year and was ...

Re: The definition of a ghillie

Stick to the head is my opinion. That goes along what almsot every army in this climate zone uses regulary. Hiding the shape of the shoulders is not a standard procedure, and i would personally see this as breaking the intention of the rule.
