Re: HPA and the future

I have heard there’s a ROF limit on Berget. Is this really a thing? If not, it really should be. Having a HPA gun with 50 rps is not fun, regardless if it is on a player or a car. Its set on 30. But should be 20. This is a real problem, mounted MGs, high rpm, high trim, low control. One of The teat...

Re: HPA and the future

There used to be random chrono-checks ingame, I don't know why it was dropped. And I agree with most comments above, problem is not HPA but the cheating and/or disregarding attitude of some players to other's safety. Also, HPA multiplies the potential damage and thus it should be addressed accordin...

Re: HPA and the future

Yes, our current system have flaws, especially towards HPA and joulecreep. We are considering a new system for next year. I wanted to switch this year but we felt a big change like this needs to be done long before game (pref. ticket release) and we wasnt sure it would expose new problems. The chron...

Re: HPA Tournament locking

I have ordered a couple of thousand cable ties in different colours. Most of them are 3,6mm wide or less and should be suitable for locking regulators. To my knowledge we were able to lock all regulators missing a proper T-lock with cable ties last year. Unless you have a very unique regulator or so...

Re: Storys regarding Rico.

The breifing in the Guerrilla HQ on Friday was pure awesomeness, had trouble hiding my smile away. I don't unterstand how you can do stuff like that with so little preparation! Too sad I didnt have my camera prepared.

I think he means that Ingame players cannot take a hitch with an Offgame(shot out) vehicle. That would be cheating since other players see the vehicle as Offgame/Dead and then counts that anyone riding in it would be the same.(ingame players in offgame vehicle = Ghost transport) am i right? Spot on.

Remember a ingame car that's been taken out needs to respawn for repair and must have visible "dead rags". It cant do anything but drive directly to home base. It can never act as "Ghost transport".

Yeah, I knew right after I posted that it wasn't accurate to say that milsim cannot include LARP, but I let it stay cause it simplifies a bit and people had already started voting.. About Milsim, Berget-Events arrange a milsim every autumn called Crossroads. It's usally a smaller game with less budg...

UPDATED: Translations of how I think about milsim, action & LARP. Clarification: I have a hard time to see Berget-games diverge from being a international airsoft event and turn to a military exercise or a Lajv (LARP event). This poll and discussion is to examine if our participators want more from ...

Action vs LARP?

Ideally I want more of both and them to interact better. Is this possible? Do you want more or less of either? What is your description of milsim? What is your descripion of LARP? My views: Milsim - Less roleplaying, less action and more towards re-creation of real military behaviour and execution. ...

If i'm no mistaken NATO was not allowed in bashir city for most of the game (except MPs) and thus didn't have a chance to experience it. No fraction was allowed to enter BC armed without weapons permit. Did yo try to enter BC unarmed or with weapons held high? -> http://www.berget-events.com/forum/...
