Having good socks is vital not only for Berget, but for any prolonged use of boots in hard terrain. Aside from having corrent-size'd boots you also need thick but not necessarily warm, socks to make the boot be where you want it to be and do what you want it to do. Having your foot slide inside the ...

Just to share my experience: Do not bring more then two primaries, one secondary and maybe something manual, like a bolt sniper or a spring shotgun. Anything more and you would have brought them along for nothing. Bring a charger, or have one for your whole team, and maybe an extension cord. Ask BE ...

Just remember that being a sniper is a lot more then just having a sniper weapon. It's a way of playing, it's a way of moving around and thinking about the situation at hand and using specific gear. I used baby-powder each day before B7 and i was fine but here is a note of warning about 'mint'-ed baby-powder. DON'T APPLY IT AFTER IT'S ALREADY RED. One of my mates did after the first berget day and.. well... He was cursing me for the next three hours. It tends to be a cold-burn. :D

Um.. i can't talk about other platoons, but in Foxtrot 4th platoon, where we had two squads, we used Alpha(1st squad)/Bravo(2nd squad) as callsigns inside. Think it was the same for other platoons aswell.

Not exactly at home, but will update this with a wall of text when i do get home. The best moment of Berget 7 for me atleast, was the convoy battlegroup operation NATO pulled the second night. It was purely awesome, and the Foxtrot company performed admirably. Had a good time and even thou we almost...
