Re: Feedback: the Tanks!
There've been some issues on how to control tanks from HQ (they're not supposed to blow up wedding parties). In addition, we've also run into a technical issue. When the first tank got destroyed during the NAF assault on UPIR base, the smoke blocked the line of sight to the IR receiver of the 2nd ta...

A NOTE FOR EVERYONE USING THIS: Positions of units and related information is in-game intel, even if it's on your phone.

Re: Reasoning for new ghillie rules?
Both sides' HQs have already cooperated in creating a document with suggestions and have sent it to BE.
Unfortunately the rule will not change for this edition but word is that it will be reviewed after B15 based on player experiences.

The pizza guy came of his own free will if I remember correctly. He wanted to give us some pizzas for free.
UPIR HQ did at no point approve the use of off-game vehicles to infiltrate anything.

Re: Rule Clarification: Mines and Minefields
Are the mines only distributed by BE or can they be home-made (I've seen both, but not sure if home-made is still allowed).
Also, is it allowed to add a high visibility colour or ribbon to the top to increase the likelihood of the drivers noticing the mines?

Re: The grand CAMO thread!
That is so close to ATACS that it would get you killed by friendlies more than anything.
I'd advice against it.

Re: Tow units for UPIR
They are also used in fixed position emplacements, but they need to get there somehow. I'm wondering if -if they can be used by infantry- if they can be relocated during the game or are stuck in their original location.

Re: Tow units for UPIR
How immobile are these units? Are they just clumsy or are they not allowed to be carried as rule?

Re: Rule Suggestions
Player honesty is indeed a tricky variable to account for. To be correct, you'd have to ask the player which bb weight he uses, make him shoot with BE-provided bbs (to be sure) and then label that weapon with the correct class and the correct bb weight. This might be doable on your regular sunday sk...

Re: power up cylinders, supressors and HPA
If someone walks up to you with a bleeding forehead asking you what your safety distance is, waving 2 different chrono cards and doing a talk on power suppressors won't help your case and might be reported as cheating.
I'm no BE official but I'd stick to 1 chrono value, and preferably the higher one.

Re: Rule Suggestions
Not entirely true, there is a certain Joule creep effect with certain HPA systems, where a heavier bb receives more initial energy than a lighter bb would.
Measuring in Joules would require the input of the player's desired bb weight, and ofc his/her honesty about the matter.
