Hey Lopho,
I am the guy you've met in red car with sign Armynet searching for a good place to swim. Your guidance has been brilliant and we've enjoyed the lake A LOT. Thank you very much for that!
I hope you'll be somewhere nearby on next Bergets with accurate local intel as well :).

Well my best thing...

I could only say the part I was playing. I was platoon commander of 3rd platoon 2nd coy for Yuri's Mercs. Being the platoon commander I could direct my people to their positions to their rolls or their specific jobs. I knew all my men and their specialties or capabilities. To hear their stories about healing, engaging or sniping... man!! That felt good!
To lead these men (and 1 woman) was about the best thing I've seen or heard for me.

There were two other specific things I'd like to write. Both were events that happened at our guard duties at our south gate at Orlovs base camp.

1. 3 cars/pick-up trucks come rolling in from the south (thirsday). Our spotter identified them as civilians. We stopped the first two cars but let them pass on pretty quick to proceed to our main gate. For the third car I gave orders to halt the car and make it stop and NOT proceed.
After a while both the first trucks went on, but 'something' inside me told me something was wrong... so I did not allow the third car to follow. Instead I gave orders to let this car turn and proceed it's way back. By this I prevented (whish) to join up again in our north and execute an attack move from there. Their forces would be split up.

2. A large civilian truck (orange and green painted) came at the same gate on friday. The old man was asking permission to park his car at our base so he could go to the city and ask for a job over there... :|
Well off course the man on the road gave him initial permission. I as commander will always stay away from sitiuatioins until I think I should interfere. This was such a moment. I told my guard to have the old man to open the back of his car (schoolbus like truck) but the man said it's locked so no person could be in there. I still wanted him to open the truck and so he did. My guard inspected the back, but besides a 25 kg pack of "something" , there was nothing interesting inside.
Then I questioned the man and found out about the job he was looking for in the city of Bashir... now a lot of bells started to ring even louder inside my head... this could be a very wrong thing!!!
Being very polite I explained to the man it would be better if he would not have to walk al that way, for it would be about 3 km walking to Bashir. He would be better off taking his truck and drive down the road, take the turn to the left and then take the second to the left again. The "poor" man explained and thanked me for this, for he had broken his leg before and probably would'nt have made it that far... The man took off and we got back to our duties.

--After the game was over, we found out that "someone" was supposed to plant a "suicide-bomb" inside our camp!!! I imidiately thought about this man and his car again. I'm not sure wether this was that specific mission, but I felt good I turned this man away like this :D

I can tell You that this action You had with the civilian car is in the local paper today. So every offgame civilian in Härnösand can read about it.

We who think this game is great gone have a great job for information and discussions with dose who think the whole event is a skit and not should be at all.

Just for you and all other players to know.
Sorry but you made a mistake...

Cause we stopped 4 guys. Not a Lady. It was a non agressive stop. We yust put up our hands and they stopped. There was no gun pointed to the car. That was an other accident caused by some german guys, as far as i know. Anyway, we made a mistake thoug, and we apologised for it.

Good to her You like the place and the lake.

Do You know anythiong about the three from Switzerland?

And to You GaBeRuN
Who talks anything about stopping a lady. Not me.

I can asure You all I understand very well this incident was a mistake.
I just want dose who did it to relise that and don´t talk about it as i was something funny. The man in the car became afraid and take contact with the real police and the police make a report about the incident.
We will see what it is coming out of it by the time.

Maybe we should end this discussion now?

It is much more funny to read about every other experiense.

Once again I say to You all - Velcome back.
Can I help You with anything - just PM me.

It was saturday afternoon and there was only about an hour or so to go until the end of the game. Nato troops were attacking BC and I got shot flanking a small group of Swedish troops (thanks to the female medic and the other dude who gave me water while I was working on my tan with the dead rag on) :)

After returning to the respawn me and another guy from my recon squad decided to make one last attempt to flank the NATO forces and stab them in the back. We made our move and attacked from the rear trough the cemetary. We cought them by surprise and cleared out the cemetary after an intense firefight. Or that's what I thought.

I moved up to shoot the NATO guys who were taking positions behind the church when I ran into a NATO survivor, crouching right next to me. We noticed each other at the same time and pulled the trigger simultaneously. Only difference was my gun fired, his didn't. Sitll don't know what happened there, the guy was cursing out quite a bit though telling me how lucky I got. Trust me, I know.

After that I had a clear sight on the NATO guys taking cover behind the church and was able to drop at least 6 or 7 guys pumping out semi-rounds maneuvering from different positions. When one of them finally shot me I heard a big "YESSSSS!" :D

There were loads of cool missions and firefights for me during the game but that one stayed with me for a while. Since it was in the very end, it was the perfect way for me to end a great event!

Funny how you forgot to take your hits in all the excitement, despite my Australian colleague emptying a mag into your car. I might have hit you with a round or two as well. By the way, you only got one out of the three of us.

Nice to see you here in the forum again! You talked at the beer party with us (Finnish players), and of course many other players too. I was the girl with a white T-shirt, and we discussed about the adrenalin and making friends by playing the airsoft.

It's a shame that some players have accidentally stopped civilian cars and made the drivers afraid, that's wrong and that kind of things should never happen. But I'm glad if most people think airsoft is OK. I only hope the newspapers don't make people afraid more.

My best B7 moment?

Friday, before noon. I hear a contact has been made on a small roadblock by a squad from our company. Several mercs with a light vehicle have been destroyed. Soon it's calm.

It's always calm before the storm they say. Not long when I hear on the radio that a large convoy of vehicles dropped off enemies at the same location where the fire fight had emerged just minutes ago. Two platoons of mercenaries closing in on a single squad. I gear up and sound the alarm to the whole company. I shout out orders to platoon leaders as our commander was not in sight just then. At a rush of confidence, I feel secured that the fighting will seize in a few minutes, but it doesn't. More enemies are being transported to the area by the minute and the shit is really getting close to hitting the fan. "We need artillery support!!!" I hear on the radio.

I grab the gridmap for determining targets for artillery and sprint south over a large field with my fellow officer. I'm now in radio contact with my commander who has an open line to the artillery brigade supporting our battle. "Waiting for targets!" he shouts.

We get to a brush where I have eyes on the battlefield. The enemy is breaking through. "Tulikomentoja(fire missions)!", I start giving out coordinates to my commander and inform our fighting troops that they're going to get fire almost on top of them. "Dig in!"

At this point I must admit it almost got frustrating waiting for the GMs to arrive but they're only human :) Also when they finally arrived, it felt that much greater to see them carrying those fireworks :D

"Where is that support?!" I hear on the radio, just as I start hearing the pounding of a concentration. 30 seconds of pounding and explosions, followed by a perfect silence. A radio message breaks the silence: "Tiger two, this is Hammer 1-0, perfect hit, let them have it"... It only takes a minute to have another concentration on the same location putting an end to the advance of the enemy.

I could go on for ages with my story, as this was merely the start of an epic airsoft battle. Mercenaries versus SRP, later on even Milos Tigers joined the battle from the north. They got their share of artillery as well ;)
During the following 3-4 hours I called in a total of 8 concentrations with one landing on our own forces. The arty boys were too slow, troops afoot had flanked the enemy quicker than I estimated. Sorry fellas! :D

Although I only shot three or four mags with my AEG while we started flanking the enemy that closed in on our base from the opposite direction, this was by far the most rewarding airsoft experience for me in a while. I'm an artillery reservist and FO -action is very close to my heart, so it's probably why I enjoyed it so much.

I also had another enjoyable moment attacking BC 15 minutes before game off. Me, my two comrades and a bunch of milos(or not anymore, milo had already been executed) boys surprised a NATO coy from their six and shot probably close to a platoon of them at the cemetary and its immediate proximity. Who counts, but I know I nailed Blackwolf! :D Not long and I took one on my goggles *DANG*, which worked out just fine as I never wanted to go in a nucular explosion! :P

Thanks BE and the players for many memorable moments!

That was truly an epic and drawn out battle to the last men.

The 1st arty strikes have landed ~20m behind/above us (mercs), luckily my squad was pressing aggressively forward (on south side of road) and we were climbing down on a steep rocky hillside, so we had excellent, natural "blast cover". The guys behind us and the reinforcements later weren't so lucky.

Since the forest up front was swarming with SRP forces and the 2nd arty strike just started thundering on the rock table above us, we quickly moved into (almost perfect) shooting positions covered by large boulders and fallen trees.

But this was just the start of a huge, very intense 40-50+ min. firefight... Those pretty close arty strikes got our adrenaline running, that's for sure. :P

Technically I was the only merc that survived this story to tell :D
Got my rifle shot up so I surrendered. Was captured, didn't tell anything at all :) about our forces and command structure... and was released to live another summer.
What a day that was 8)

SRP are really not that rough and evil... more teddybears from the north

Ooh, got another story to tell :)
By Friday evening the "Embassy" in BC was well established, it was nearly impossible for your local weapons dealer 8) to make any decent contact with the officials. The foockhat (pakol :) ) guys were everywhere I didn't want them
Something needed to be done. So on Friday evening, Luc and myself entered Bashir for the first time in our red armbands. I gave a close deathlook to every CIA operator in town, not sure the guys realised what it was :)
So the big NATO attack comences and I hid my platoon in the thick bush by the embyssy :D Operators dropped like flies :P Went to cars for regen, came back, died again :D Then they drove off, left the town  Not for good, but the message was clear.
All orchestrated from the roof of the bar, haha. Loved it!
