If the manual or advertisement of the gun does not specifically say that it can handle an 11,1v lipo then it will probably burn out your trigger contacts and strip your gears (probably piston)

If it does not, then run an 7,4v (2s) lipo with minimum 1000mah 25c or 2000mah 15c. But the higher c rating and mah the better. (hobbyking.com got a lot of cheap but good batteries.)

In case you don't know this, the C rating and mah goes hand in hand with the amount of ampere (A) the battery can deliver.
(C*mah)/1000=A
so a battery with 2000mah and 25c can maximum deliver 50 ampere at around "room temperature" ([25c*2000mah]/1000=50A)
and usually an aeg needs between 15-25A (depending on the spring strength and general effectiveness of the box)
and then you need to add an additional "safety margin"so the battery don't get damaged, and temperature margin if you play in the cold.
