Air tanks for Polarstar

Hello. I just bought a new rifle, a polarstar in fact, but before I can play I need an air tank. Now I live in Sweden so any tanks that are bought outside Swedish borders is not an option.

I've been looking at this tube but I don't know if it will do the job. Plus when I call the store they don't pick up, and they don't answer emails. So now I need to look else where. For me size could be a issue as I am using a smaller backpack. Due to this I am very limited to the width and height of it. This is why I thought the size of the tube I've been looking at was very fitting. I am not completely sure but the tube is about 1 liter and I am unsure on how many BBs I can fire at m/s of 110-120. Do you guys have any ideas on where I may find these tanks either as web order or a store in Stockholm län? maybe 1 liter is not enough? I have a compressor at home, is it possible to refill an air tank with that or do I have to go to a store? and how bars should it be at?

I have SMP and 1.1L Compositetank. Shoots about 7000bb's with that. Polarstar will use much more air.
You need a highpressure compressor to refill tanks or a scubatank.

Alright, thanks for the input. I've decided to buy a 3000 psi tank at 0.8l

You have refilling possibility at Berget? If not, one tank will not do the job. Neihter do we, if 13L scubatank wont fit in car with 500 kilos of gear. So i will take 3 x 1L 3000psi aluminium tanks and one 1.1L 4500psi 300bar composite. Hope those will be enough..

IF the game is in Härnösand area you will have possibilities to refill tanks in town. if not i remeber there was a guy last year who wrote on the forum that he would bring a compressor or a tank to refill for others aswell, if you find that thread you might be able to see if he is going again this year and maybe he could help u out.. :)

I suggest you look into ways of making your P* more efficient as well. The Polarstar FB group has some good advice, and with a few off the shelf modifications you can get pretty efficient with a P*.

larger bore nozzle (Red, Purple)
Lightning Banjo (Only if you have a Gen 3 V2 Fusion Engine)
Red Poppet + Shims
TBB (Don't use a Widebore barrel if you want air efficiency)

Thanks for the tips Switchback, I'll have a look at that. might me a bit hard for me to get a nozzle here in Sweden for Polarstar. Afak, there is no one who sell them. But I should be enable to order one from Denmark or UK so shouldn't be an issue in the end.

What's TBB?

I have access to a compressor and we are brining it to Berget. So refilling wont really be an issue.

I have also been looking at an alternative tank. the small tanks that scuba divers uses as an emergency tank. Could they work? Their width is much smaller which could be very useful.

Sorry for using the abbreviation, TBB means Tightbore Barrel. Like a 6.01 or 6.03 barrel.

As for a compressor, that probably won't work because most compressors only pressurize to about 120PSI. Paintball air tanks pressurize from 3000PSI (206 BAR) to 4000PSI.

Having a scuba tank at base camp is the best option really available for big multi-day games with no on-site air fills, a lot of P* users here in the USA have a tank that they leave in the car and top off when needed. You will need a scuba tank - Paintball tank fill nozzle adapter, not sure how much they cost.

12L scubatank costs around 300€. Tank fill nozzle will cost around 70-90€.

http://www.sissos.se from there you will get all you need.
