Radio / Frequencies

Post by hison » 07 Mar 2014, 17:00

If you have a radio or find one that fits in relation to the frequency / band area and meets Swedish
PTS “Post & Telestyrelsen” regulations applicable transceiver features so you can use them and of
course within its own context in the group provided that you not use frequencies that
Berget Events has reserved for the game.

Berget Events will recommend frequencies that will be used in the game as a liaison network for
managers at all levels can exercise command of his units and men in all factions.

Other frequencies may be used in level 3 and 4.

Radio Communication levels:
1 CO <-> Company commander
2 Company Commander <-> Platoon Chief
3 Platoon Chief <-> Group Chief
4 Group Chief <-> Group

More detailed information regarding the regulations and conditions in Sweden will be announced shortly.

Here is an example of the frequency range, modulation and power that can be used in Sweden.

27 MHz "CB / PR" 40 frequencies, AM / FM 4W, SSB 12W
31 MHz "Jakt31" 40 frequencies, FM 5W
---- new -----
69 MHz "69-B1" 8 frequencies, FM 25W
69 MHz "69-B2" 10 frequencies, FM 5W
----------------
155 MHz "Jakt155" 6 frequencies, FM 5W
156 MHz "Slask" 1 frequency, FM 5W
433-434 MHz "LPD" 68 frequencies, FM 0.015W
444 MHz "KDR / SRBR" 8 frequencies, FM 2W
446 MHz "PMR" 8 frequencies, FM 0.5W
446 MHz "dPMR" 16 frequencies, 4FSK 0.5W

Radio should satisfy demands concerning RTTE-harmonized and CE marked equipment.

Before you decide to acquire new radio, you should check with them you'll play along with what
type of radio and frequency range that will be used.

It is also good to ask me if doubts exist.

Maximum continuous transmission is 180 seconds
Antenna shall be integrated into the radio installation.

Radio must meet the requirements required in the RTTE-harmonized and CE marked equipment.

If you have a radio that handle 400 to 470MHz so it does not mean you can broadcast on any
frequency from 400 to 470MHz, but you must follow band plans in different frequency ranges
so as not to interfere with or disrupt vital information transmitted on leased or socially
beneficial frequencies such as Police, Fire, Ambulance, Flight, Army frequencies and others.

Rules relating to radio.

A recommendation and a rule not to disturb the others' radio connection (jammers) or false signal. Thus not allowed = No.

You are allowed to scan frequencies and gather important information to design or modify strategic events or tasks. Permitted = OK.
