Any tips on where to get your hands on any of them in Sweden?
I know, I know, I won't use 'em at Berget....unless...

we tried those frags and thunderflashes at town assault 2.

it is a big bang, but was allowed to be used in buildings ---> not SO big to hurt you in cqb. worked fine, though frags sometimes required lighter (it was easy to lose a cap, which was supposed to be used to light the pyro). the thunderflash was real pain in the ass to throw far - did not fly through the air very much. you could have them (thunderflashes) aplenty with you, it is easy to stove them away. the frags on the other side - they take much more space, so you can have limited number of them on you (good thing imho).

no idea on smokes, we did not use those.

we use those pyro's alot

I have used the grenades (bang with bb's) and the smokers

also at B5 .......... (with permission... :) )

the pyro's are ok
it will accur that the the striker fails (damage, moisture or lost), then you must light it with another striker cup or with your lighter (same as fireworks)

I have used these pyros a fair bit and have cut them about a lot also. They are made readly well and are 97% reliable.
The only thing as above is that i would advise carrying a lighter incase the striker comes off or gets soaked. Some people i know keep an additions striker attached to thier vests also but a lighter is best.
The frags are a bit pointless and awkward to carry around imho but the thunderflashes are good and reliable if a bit lightweight to throw realy far(i add some weight with a bit of gaffa tape)
The somkes are fairly consistent as and burn well with little outward scorching. The BIG smoke is an brilliant bit of woodland kit perhaps a bit ott for cqc.

NOTE!
All retail gas/spring/bungee/electrical mines and grenates are ok. Home-made stuff must be tested by crew at checkin.

No burning/exploding things are allowed
with this, do they also mean regular smoke grenades?

it is a very small "pop" when the smoke nade im thinking of goes of, but after that it is safe, so would it be allowed or not?

Hi, can we use the smoke grenades made in EU? Such smoke grenades use in Latvia and Lithuania by army. They have not very power full smoke effect. But you must burn it before it works.

Anything that burns is illegal unless issued by crew.

I have tried those thunderflashes, and using them in a Berget Event would be cool. Would certainly add some more to the general ''feel'' in the game :)

I know there are fire hazards during dry summers, but unlike smoke grenades, the thunderflashes don't sparkle and spew out flame.

Could you make a position in the Safe Zone where we could buy these BE issued pyro's???
In that case we can al be sure that whatever we use, is legal and provided by BE...

That is pretty good idea. I think it would be nice to carry few smoke grenades around to deploy fast if need be. This way it would be possible.
