Very clever. Greetings to your police.
So I can buy a real gun, paint it like airsoft and walk everythere - nobody could check me.

No not really... we can smoke grass anytime we like (I don't) You can kill a man and go to jail for 2 years and be free... you can curse the queen and every policeman you meet... They won't do nothingGeboren wrote:They're hard in Holland?WhiteAce wrote:Yeah... wish we had laws like yours over here in Holland...Geboren wrote:Hold on guys, you're right not giving up.

But airsoft is absoluteley forbidden...
Yes, and that is one of the issues that the Police warned the Legislators about...Voron13[Woodcats] wrote:Very clever. Greetings to your police.

Voron... im a first response unit police officer, and one of my missions is to fight gun related crimes happening in my area, usually we are the first to arrive to the scene.
And no, we don't have to greet the police, cause the 2 of the biggest police forces in Portugal are against this new law.
Because of some recent gun related crimes, the Government decided to thoughen up the laws, but the only thing they did was to "almost kill" Airsoft, because of the paintings.
Lots of political scandals which the Government is directly implied and they go and try to end a great sport like this...
Smart aren't they?

Well that's just great, don't listen to the police, I mean what do they know!? right
So typical of people with to much power & not enough brains to use it properly.
Question: does it (the law) say anything about dirt? say you droped it in a pit of mudd & whoops it's not as shiny anymore?
Sorry you guys, hope you can overcome this crap.

Well, when is the last time anyone saw a government (ANY government) behave in a sane and logical manner?Kaiser wrote: Lots of political scandals which the Government is directly implied and they go and try to end a great sport like this...

I guess great power not only corrupts, but must render people insane as well, because I've seen too much odd crap being passed as sensible laws lately.

Kaiser, sorry for "greetings" for police, I send it because of Stuntman's
But it is really a great place to build up more crimes - use paintings to mask real guns.
It's always painfull then government try to "kill" something that they can't control or afraid of.
Keep fighting guys.
Yes, I know that laws and real life are different in some cases. And I understand that this law was made against airsoft at all.Yeap, we're stil fighting, but this all thing was a plan of 3 major police officer that want to ban airsoft from Portugal.

It's a bad news for us stuntman, where did you get this news?
We can protect ourselves using any kinds of weapons like batons, pepper spray, stun guns etc. and use it in a proper way.
STUNTMAN, we are all quite puzzelt about the new laws in Portugal. Maybe you could shead some light on it.

easy:
16 with parent permit. 18 clear to play without permit.
Must be federated in one of the 3 federations.
Maximum 1.3J for all guns (incl. Snipers)... and this fantastic thing:
Yeap, all guns must be painted fluorscent Yellow or red.
It sucks a lot, but we can still play airsoft.
