Hello!

I'm and my friends are thinking about some alternative route to Harnosand this year.
So that looking for advice about a place where to spent night in Umea. Something with realy good price.

I will very apreciate any advice regarding camping/motel/hotel, or may be link to some good site with needed info.

Thanks a lot.

Few of us are also thinking of camping for a few days before Berget. We have not yet decided on the location, but this website might be useful:
http://www.camping.se/en/Campingse-Inte ... orrland%22

Prices are not bad, but it is Midsummer weekend (if I recall correctly) so reservations should be made well in advance.

As Hawkins writes - the weekend before Berget is a mayor national holiday in Sweden, so if you plan to go to a camping you better do your reservations soon.

Actually as far as I understand there is only one camping in area:
First Camp Umeå

As a brit living in sweden I would say its the best we've got (there are many Bishops Arms, better than O'learys with all the TV's), but it isn't a proper pub by any stretch of the imagination.

Lacks the aroma of urine.
