However, upon reading the other experience I can only say this:

Scrap the MGL missions for now, and only when EVERYTHING else is f#*king PERFECT inctroduce them again in smaller scale (SOF, squad or max. platoon).

But really, get all the other stuff in order first THEN improve fundamentals further THEN add extra stuff.
i can see the logic in this, why cant BE crew ?
If BE took all the great ideas from this forum we'd have the perfect milsim, unfortunatly this is easier on paper then in practice...

this isnt about everything, its the fact that way to many players were stowed away in busses, doing missions that should have been executed with less amount of ppl, i stand by the other guys statement, Berget should focus on the other small stuff first, instead of adding som half-assed attempt on doing something that seems really awesome, but then turns out to be dissapointing.

just my 2 cents

The nr of players to go was given by berget. We did not even fill the nr berget requested for the first MGL. So I dont think the problem was with to many going... The MGL missions need to be more balanced, and yes, I think making them smaller and perhaps more of them is the solution. Having just small unit missions, and allowing only 10% of the players to go will not help either.

I would concentrate crew efforts into the main game and get the basics of the game running smoothly. There were many things that did not work this year: malfunctioning equipment (BAVS), too few missions (at least for the Zansian troops), and "deserted" game area at times, because of the MGLs.

Back to basics, I say! When the main event runs smoothly, then add new stuff.

This is probably the overall concensus on the topic.

Good idea, but get the basics to work properly before implementing the MGLs again. And downsize them.
