Serbian Taxi

Post by ganzknapp » 01 Jul 2013, 23:46

Since everyone's asking about the LARP roles, have you noticed Serbian Taxi?
Did you like it?
Sorry we haven't offered enough taxi services (still we got some happy customers), cuz we had a lot of undercover actions (and affected the course of game), but still we wanted to make our roles as bright as possible)

we noticed it and we talked about to use it when we were hit at the old mine (we were GCT players).
but we didn't know if it is allowed to call it, when you are hit. can somebody give a statement about this?

I´d say that there is no clear rule about it.

Either the cab could fly an orange flag and drive you off-game or they could act as a hearse and drive some lifeless bodies to the morgue.

As long as you act in the spirit of the rules and good sportsmanship I don´t see a problem. :)

I personally experienced that taking the taxi out to battle was great :D
It was a great way to save my energy for the actual battles considering the long walk from ravens hq to everything else :P

LEt me explain the economical model of the In-game taxi
1. Only ingame people who are alive can call the taxi (we were not permitted to answer calls from the dead)))
2. "Corpses" can be transported if they are placed into taxi and payed by players who are "alive"
3. Pricing is strongly influenced by economical situation in the game. If people get more money and stuff (including tavern goods) becomes more expensive, or there is a deficite of something, the prices rise. Taxi is payed ONLY by ingame money
4. Next year we are planning to bring not only serbian taxi, but also serbian market (goods from the taxi trunk) it will be possible to buy cheap but usefull stuff both for real and ingame money. It will be expensive in terms of ingame money, but dirtcheap for real ones)))

I think the Serbian Taxi you are all refering to was my dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe :)
No other Serbian taxi service was available during the game. And if, that was just a regular old taxi.
The Serbian Taxi drove to and fro to pick up people and driving them back to base or out to their destination.
To my knowledge this was a very appreciated gesture based on the thankful comments after the ride and we all did this for free. The people riding with us did not have to pay for any gas or anything. It was a morale heightening action for the Raven side and occasionaly the civilans only.
We never cheated and drove in game players waving an off game flag.
The Serbian Taxi will be back for B12 to take care of our allies!

Serbian taxi we all refer was our silver Hyundai Santa Fe, with blue markings "TAXI" on sides and radio frequencies to make a call. It was"official" taxi service, we even had an ingame "working permission"
