I was in GCT infantry and we had enough place in our tents.. but only because a lot of us brought their own tents.

The toilets in the GCT base were clean the whole game... they werent emptied every half a day but i dont think that is necessary.

Was a cool move to build a shower at the base.. i used it once and there were NEVER more than 2 Players waiting to shower.. so one was clearly enough. And the water was fresh and cold. Really refreshing, liked it. If you want a warm shower, go to harnösand.

Water supplies on Gameside was ok in my opinion, did not have to search a lot when my 1.5l water were empty.

Building up Camps was a pain in the ass this year... On Monday when we arrived, we were told that ist forbidden to enter the base because the tents werent built and nobody knowed, where the different Teams like infantry or paras should sleep... sorry but it should be possible to go to the base from Monday... Ist okay, that ist not possible earlier, because otherwise, People would start to come earlier and earlier every year, but 1 day before check in opening would be ok i think... we would also have helped Setting up tents if help was needes...

In the end, i have to say "THANK YOU BE TEAM" you re doing an awesome Job every year. just try to increase this year by year and BE will be awesome every time. :team:

PS: was my first beerparty, and i was a Little bit disappointed.. heard much better things from the last years... but doesent matter, had beer

PPS: What is that whinig about wi-fi on the whole game area? We are playing airsoft and not counterstrike... i switched of my mobilephone and it was great, beeing some days offline like in the "dark Ages" from 1995-2004... :wank:

That was needed to check the Berget Area Control System (BACS) to know which districts were -in the process of being- captured by which side.
Purely for game mechanics, not to update instagram mid-firefight :P

For me personally (we have different opinions in our team) logistics were great.

It's not a Sunday skirmish, it's a "mil sim" and as such you take what you get. With showers, toilets and snacks bar it felt like a HQ in the major city rather than front line :) I don't enjoy being dirty and smell like crap, but that's what you get when you go for such games.

So supply of fresh water in the base, water to do basic cleaning and toilets are just fine.

(No comment on tents, as I always use my own)

i still think its not necessary. We could just do it the old Fashion way and ask the HQ. Of course its a cool think if cou can check the bacs. But to hope, that there will be wi-fi on the whole game area? Sorry there are much more important things than that. As a foreigner, just buy a swedish sim-card if you dont like the roaming.

Ah, I understand the confusion, my comment was about WiFi availability in HQ. The rest commented on having good 4G connection throughout the game area.
But as a guy without that fancy technology or in case HQ wants to bring a laptop, WiFi comes in handy.

 really, do you need warm showers @ Berget?
yes, not all players are milsim die hards.
we had one guy that needed a warm shower after he got a bit sick but there was only at ikaros and not the safe zone like years before.

remember that not all players come for the same goal, some will live in the forest and some only want small skirmishes.
ikaros showers also only had cold water. i think offgame had warm water but idk

that clears it up a bit, I was sitting here thinking "why in the -- did this guy think there would be wi-fi out in the field?"
I also heard there would be wifi in the HQs so if that didn't work that's a shame ^^

There was supposed to be but never materialized. We used a private wifi hot spot for such things at HQ. Problem was only when i wasnt there, there was no wifi either...

If you want small skirmishes stay at home next time and enjoy your sunday games and avoid Berget at all costs. It is afterall a MilSim.

Next you'll complain that there was no room service and the bed mattress was too lumpy. Seriously don't understand people like you :wank:

Berget is not a milsim game, it is an airsoft game with some milsim and larp aspects. that said, the fact that there even were showers is pretty amazing, I did not expect anything of the sorts. I was very happy to see the toilets were cleaned so often and that there were taps to wash hands and dishes in. If the person really needed a hot shower that bad, there was a bathhouse in Härnösand which by car was like, what, 5 minutes away?
