Considering the size and nature of event like this I would love to see Berget to evolve as a milsim rather than just a big weekend skirmish where players keep running between frontline and respawn area.

Long story short: Make "casualties" matter.

Usually we are talking at least platoon sized elements (preferably even companies) being in contact with each other so it's kind of frustrating to take first ~40 guys out, keep moving towards the objective and realise that those same guys are coming back again. And this works other way around: platoon gets wiped out, short walk to the spawn, got lucky with quick spawn, just in time to start all over again with that same hostile force...

Respawn doesn't need to happen every 30min, it could be every hour or even every other hour. Longer period of time between respawns would encourage players to R&R as there's no need to hurry. This would also probably reduce the problem with players exhausting themselves trying to pewpew without enough food & rest and then leaving early...

This would also demand more from HQs trying to avoid any unnecessary losses on the field. No more "suicide missions" and more attention trying to hold some kind of operational reserves.

With this kind of change to the spawn times and players being afraid to just sit on the spawns and wait, it would be good to also update some medic rules, for an example 1st hit could be treated with buddy aid (TQ?) and not until after 2nd hit would an actual ingame medic be needed to treat some nasty bb wounds...

Just my 2 cents.

I agree on this, but I see a huge risk that if the respawn time is too long, people start cheating even more since they don't want to be hit in the first wave and wait for respawn for 2 hours.

Regarding the camo rules, the light vs dark didn't work that well in the past to obvious reason of the environment. How about solid colors vs other camos? On top of that the armbands should make it a little bit easier to distinguish people on the field.

As I stated on the feedback threads: get rid of the buildings, or at least incorporate bavs to those. Those buildings are huge risk for injuries, fights, rule breaking and so on as they are build badly (small holes/windows etc). And there should be a GM present in the biggest buildings basically whole time it is ingame to prevent players breaking safety distance, semi auto and all the other rules regarding the buildings.

1. Have some rules against "base attacks", it just make chaos and injures on the defending team.
2. May been cool with medic trucks, with same rules as police car. In all teams, in limited amounts.
3. More main objectives, so more people can be busy doing something, not that every time there is an attack/defending situation, EVERYONE comes.
4. The price for refill of HPA tank is ridiculously expensive, maybe do a rethink of the price.
5. As mention before, most of the food sold in the kiosks, are way to expensive.
6. Some sort of camo rotation on both teams.
7. Better planning of tents space, so people who orders space, actually get a space.
8. Make weaknesses on buildings, so teams can't bunker them self inside. IF Berget wan't an object to be a bunker, fine, but call it a bunker then, and not a factory.
9. Better armbands :|
10. Give teams sandbags, so they can use to make a "defending" object at a place of their own choice, then we will have 2-3 objects that not will be placed on the map, and have to be found by recon/rangers. They can work as field hospital or something else fitting to the new story.

Ah come on - there is already a 8 hour offgame time for the bases...i mean for sure the "attack base while people sitting in tents and stuff" isn't ideal but that's the way it is.

Another suggestion to Berget Crew:

Please make a maximum RPS rule...last year there was a team, everyone of the team was carrying a HPA machine gun and they were all shooting with a insane ROF. It was just ridiculous...the went to through the forrest just spraying hundreds of bbs in the enemy direction.

I mean you can have insane ROF, more energy then normal assault rilfes and more ammo....so what's the disadvantage of a machine gun?!
(Maybe 1-2kg of weight?!)

I want to build some antitank(and anti everything with bavs) that can shot a tow, so maybe berget can be open to this? cause it wont steal energy from them :P

1. I personally like the base attacks, keeps things interesting

2. Medic trucks would be great! I think this will cause more large scale attacks as a respawn is not far away

3. something like a scientist capture side-mission would be nice. Have a squad of independent scientists turn on a GPS tracker every 2 hours or so and when captured they have to be taken to a laboratory where they can build a bomb or something.

4. and 5. Sweden has different prices and I peronally did not find them exagerated.Don't forget that for the food you also pay for the logistics (generator, fridge, supplying,...) and the service

6. no opinion here

7. Yes, that is a true thing. The tents were overly cramped. I was lucky to have a spot next to some1 with a field bed, which allowed me to store stuff under that. Others were not so lucky. Also the tents need to be setup so that they cannot get flooded. We had to dig trenches to get the water away from the tents as water already started to enter them from the sides

8. that or allow smokes next to buildings to allow a full on assault

9. yup

10. good idea

3. If we are gonna continue having objects to capture to get the tanks, there should be a "side mission" that allow to get a powerful AT-weapon. Javelin or a nice AT-canon, to take out the tanks. So they not get too OP.

For next berget you should build a proper village with wooden buildings in the middle of the game area, like it was in B14. Maybe have a CP near the village (100-200m away) to have military importance to hold the village area. And to avoid this years fighting among the civilian tents, create civilian camping site or "refugee camp" ~1km away from actual village. "Refugee camp" could be under the protection of UN peace keeping forces and free from major military actions (no large scale attacks to the camp by red or blue). This way there would be a safe place for civilians to stay while major factions are fighting for the control over the village.

Good feedback!

Goal for next game is to have SLEEPING parts for Civs away from any objective, and have a Civilian object where it all happens... maybe a town, maybe " something else " ;)

Can we please continue to have 3D Leaf jackets and Ghillie ponchos for the Ranger/shadows units?
It was one way to distinguish those units from the rest and to reinforce the use of the units.

One other thing that comes to mind is - would it be possible to have preheated water in the kiosk? Since there is an open flame ban almost every berget it becomes a struggle just getting hot water for drytech/mres.

FINDING YOU TENT
At B16 the tents was marked with names, so people could see if they were located there,
and must say that was a super idea. To buildup this idea you should make a tent map so
people would know where to go. At B16 you would have to look at every tentsign to locate your spot.
An idea was maybe to have some guides running around camp direction people to there tent or simply
make a map with tent spots and names :D

NAF HQ had lists of who should sleep in what tent ready before arrival. Thing was that the amount of tents we got and where they got placed changed monday by Berget CREW. And the HQ personel was already on the way and we cudnt change things that late. Also we got aditional ppl added from Crew tuesday mid day. So our plans went to shit pretty fast. All this has been adressed with Crew and will be handled better next year.
That being said if we run again next year there will be a few HQ lads on site monday marking up and creating maps of camp site on site to avoid this.

Thank you Ace!

If you need any help of ppl, who arrive quite early, we will arrive on Monday nearby and will go to the area tuesday around 09:00 (this year we were ones of the first arriving there)

I can offer, that you can send me a List of the Tents just for emergency, in case BE messes up again like this year.
