Well it does, but it has been approved previous years. The flame is contained pretty well compare to Trangia. Still, use it on a hard surface and don't tip it. It's more safe option vs Trangia, esbits. If you want to play safe, buy those heater packs and MREs.
Under normal conditions, jetboilers etc are all allowed. We do not allow Open fires , meaning Classic " campfires " .
Last year there was a government issued fire ban due to extreme heat, which means NO fire whatsoever.

There isnt currently any such fireban on game area, but it is a high possibility and everyone need to be prepared for that.

So I can bring a normal camping propane burner like this one https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDgwMA== ... 880000500F
As long as there is no fire ban from the government?

But if there is a fire ban, is the jetboil or anything else aloud?

I would also assume we are not aloud to cook with any flame out in the game area during game hours?to avoid a lot of potential problems.

You are right.

During a government issued fireban, the only fire allowed is in smaller permanent structures made for fire. We have no such on game area.

All in all, just use common sense. if you sit infront of a small stove and keep an eye on it at all times, noone will complain.

In the Norwegian military, we always have a fire watch when anything with open flame is used. Just set up a simple roster for your tent, if you plan on having the burner/jetboil going all night long, or just rotate watching the fire when it is lit.

Hello everyone! Message from northern Sweden here. We are two guys going on our first Berget event, and we are wondering if anyone is interested in sharing some space in their car to and from the game area? We live in Luleå and and are looking for someone who have some space free from the local area, maybe Piteå, Skellefteå? If you or anyone you know are interested in splitting the fuel cost down south, please do contact me :tank:

There a few reasons why i 'need' the map before the game.
If we will get it on site, that's okay. But then i need to prepare myself to do some work on site.
