Small arms definition?

Post by Söderström » 13 May 2022, 22:28

Hi y'all!

So, I was going through what was allowed and not for my unit type (red infantery) and apparently we are allowed "small arms", assault rifles, machine guns and snipers.

Engineers and sappers are allowed SMGs, so... is there a rigid difference?

And bringing backups guns is basically a necessity, so the question is basically: is it fine to bring, for instance, a mp5 as a spare gun despite not fighting in a unit type that are allowed smgs?

The wording is as it is to specify what specialist teams are allowed to use.
You are always allowed to use less powerful guns than whats stated. If it would only say " heavy machine guns " that includes all weapons below such as Assault rifles and small arms.

We specify SMG under Engineers so that they dont think that only Pistols are allowed.
