Feedback - Bases/Logistics

Please give us your feedback on this years bases, and how they can be improved.

This include sleeping tents, Kiosks, Toilets and general logistics

Yellow base didn't have showers. Which would be fine if the safezone had showers. But those turned out to be out of commission. We ended up showering at the local pool (which was totally worth its money).

AC in red HQ only managed 18 degrees as the lowest setting wich was OK most of the time, but when all field commanders were inside for briefings and coffee it would have been nice to be able to set it lower.

Some cleaning equipment for the showers would be nice, but we will bring it ourselves next year.

Kiosk staff was top notch.

Since red was only 230 players this year, space wasnt an issue, but next year I imagine we will be back to 600+ and then space will be an issue again. Maybe cut som trees?

Blue base had issues with the drinking water from second day arriving in the game area, we broth this to HQ and the answer was that the supplier "assure" us is ok for drinking, the water was muddy and with a strange taste we end up going all the way to yellow base in order to fill all our containers every single day.

I have seen some comments/feedback around "bring back MILSIM".
The blue based looked more like a family-picnic-weekend-camping. All kind of tent colors, civilian cars with tent on the roof. Big tables and all kind of crap everywhere. If we want to make Berget a MILSIM again we need to remove some of the personal comfort crap and go back to small military tents.

One way to solve it would be if everyone started in Safezone and walked to their base. Then I guess not all the crap would be included :)

AFAIK Berget has never been a milsim. And it has never been the intention by BE to be one

Indeed, it has MilSim aspects and more MilSim-alinged units, but the game as a whole has never been a full-on milsim

Red HQ was top notch and did a truly amazing job this year! (I know it's hard to top the previous years <3)
  • Infrasturcture in base was good, but we ran out of hand soap relatively early on.
  • Not nearly enough refill points for water in the field!
  • A guy above here had the wonderful idea of displaying all water tanks on the game map. I highly suggest you have a button to display offgame infrastructure like this, toilets etc. with a click of a button. Possibly auto-toggle off all in-game POIs
