Eheh, a hurt CO, has to display some balls in front of his team...

I wish trustees would mainly use their powers to settle disputes, not start them.

So much anger just because your armband number wasn't showing?

From his point of view, understandable.
I wasn't there, so I can only judge from the video, which only shows the perspective of the accused, but:

The blue guys saw the cameraman pop up out of the green and firing. They returned fire, and the cameraman dropped flat on the ground. As the CO said himself in the video, that's the kind of behaviour you expect when someone is 'hit' - the video shows (and the cameraman explains) that he isn't hit, but instead uses a very efficient pattern of movement - get up, shoot once/twice - get down again, but the blue guys couldn't see that.

So the blue CO marches over to tell the cameraman that they all think he should be hit, and the second thing he notices is that the player has an armband, but no number on it.

Now don't get me wrong here, I'm convinced that the cameraman wasn't cheating, and that the blue CO overreacted in that situation, but I can understand where his anger - in the heat of battle - comes from. I'm not so arrogant to say that this couldn't happen to me, or any other player - I only hope that when anyone next gets into such a situation, they're able to take a breath, take a step back from the game situation, and try reason.

And to be real honest, if the cameraman was aware before the incident that his armband number wasn't showing any more, he could/should have done something about it. Technically, the blue CO was completely correct, even if he hadn't been angry about a player suspected of not taking hits already.

Rules state that: "When constructing your own armband, it must be atleast 11 cm (4,3 inch) wide and have your induvidual teamnumber and unitname visable in black. Players without correct armbands wont be allowed into the game-area."

And now, all that unnecessary nit-picking, haggling and arguing aside, nice video, DiabloV. I liked the teamwork, how you obviously took command in the field, and that controversial pistol-shooting move. (Couldn't find that bypass rule for medics you mentioned in the video though, about rolling off an entire length of bandage in less than the regulatory 2 minutes). I wonder if the dead blue guys would've understood what your teammates were shouting at them ("Get out of the way! There are living players behind you and we will have to shoot through you if you don't move!") if they had shouted it in English instead of Russian... :)
Been here since B08... :)

Good points, JD! We all know there are always two sides of a story...
In the same context, I'd paste another section from the rules:

NOTE!
We consider argues about people not takings hits as bad as the cheating itself. DO NOT, argue or curse other players if they are not taking hits. Talk to a game-master! Starting an argue can lead to a ban from the game.
(And remember: it is better to take one hit too many than one too few.)

As I understood it, he was telling the wounded how they do it back in mother russia :)

The actions of the blue CO were technically not incorrect (asking a suspected cheater for armband ID), although the attitude was far from desirable.

I made number on my armband 1 hour before the game, and i did not saw what happend with number before this incidend.

My first Berget was Berget-6, after that we started to add "medic" element in our games. Аfter a few games I decided to add more realism - in my games in Russia medics need to reel all 5m of bandage. Looks cool.

You can put any spring in the red cylinder, so it does not have to be a M150-spring.

first you should look into your court-side and check for garbage and then into the neighbors
