"Vehicle rules"

I bought a pickup-truck for 35K SEK only for this game and were even incouriged to do so by some in the B5 crew.
The far as I know I also got the permit driving in-game, nothing more than a "sure you can"-answer but that is enough for me to set things in motion.

Then after several months,
I was told all ingame vehicles should be either painted OD-green or have a camonet..
I cant find any info about that in the rules. Now or then.
And why should a civilian vehicle be military-fashioned at all..?

Except for the machineguns,
I cant see the difference between my truck and these used by the military...

So why should I have to spend another 20K on a paintjob or use a ugly camonet that can get stuck to the wheels and cause an accident.

Clear this up B5 crew.

The only thing we have said about this is the fact that you will have to get your car "approved" by us. All cars and vehicles provided by us are OD or cammoflaged. Using for example a white pickup can easaly be misstaken by a civilian car. And if people are fireing out of what seems to be civilian vehicles there might be misstakes when players fire at "offgame civilian" vehicles.

This game area is not like Berget 4, there will be civilians living on the game area and we must let them use the roads to go/leave home.

We are sorry if this has been unclear but adding a cammonet wont be so hard,it wont cost you much or hurt your car. Cutting it down so i wont stuck in the weals are not impossible.

Umm, won't there be some danger with non-players within the game area? Will you provide them with free eye protection or something?

As on previous games there will allways be civilans on the gameareas, we have devided the area to AA`s action- areas where fighting is allowed, this sound wierd but when you see the map you will understand.

Yes, this will provided by us at checkin. But it is not enough, we cant afford misstakes.

If he now puts on a camonet. How much or how covering should it be?
Is it enough to just cover some part the hood and some on the sides? Or does it have to be completly covered?

Just some parts like the front and part of the sides, the main matter is to make it clear that this is a non-civilian vehicle.

so if he just use some kind of tape that is clearly visible against the cars paint and writes something like NATO or USSR or similar on the car it would be allowed?

or maybe just a big flag in the antenna?
just something that clearly marks that it´s a game vehicle and not just any civilian car?

come on guys, lets be creative... there are plenty of alternatives to mark a car so that you can easilly see that it´s a game vehicle ;)
