Protecting a Can Am Commander

Post by Yakuza_Dragon » 09 Mar 2014, 21:14

Hey guys,

Question to to pros:

My brother in-law ordered a brand new Can Am Commander XT-P, of course, we intend to use in Airsoft games.

I would like to know if there is any way to protect the costly vehicle, in perticular head-lights, body made of plastic and all the inside of the vehicle.

My idea is to create a cover from Acrylic Glass mounted from the front metal bumper to the roll cage.

Any other ideas?

Thank you.

Plexi glass covers for the headlights should work

as for the body: hanging copious amounts of cammie netting over your vehicle would both protect the plastic and look cool

I have worked with a Can Am as an in-game vehicle, they didnt bother with any protection at all actually. but a clear heavy duty tape, the kind construction workers use, should do the trick for the more exposed parts.

I've seen a car covered in camo netting some years ago. Looked cool, and worked as protection.

I've ended up with a cracked windshield and a broken mirror from BB's. Plexi glass on lights and mirrors are recomended.
