It is easy to not enjoy Berget if you have an expectation that things will run 100% smoothly and you want a fun game handed to you on a platter;
- Try to keep a positive attitude, be pragmatic and positive. If you have to criticize, make it constructive and do not be aggressive about it.
- Identify your chain of command
- Work with your chain of command not against it.
- Use your chain of command to communicate up the line if things are not going well
- If your chain of command does not seem to be working, make sure higher levels know about this early and often, escalate as necessary.
- Work with the players on your side to ensure you all have a good game
Follow these points and you can get a great time of the experience.

Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.
Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.
Expect the unexpected, and total boredome..
The game is only as fun as the player himself.
Remember that youre not coming to a helthspa but an outdoors actiongame.
Soldiers DO march, not everyone is MECH or AirCav..
If your tired, take a rest.
If your wet, dry yourself.
If your thirsty, have a drink.
If your cold, dress up.
If your hungry, eat.
If your bored, don´t sit on your ass and whine about it, ask for it and thou shalt GET SOME!
If your scared, stay home.
If you don´t like it, don´t eat it....
And remember that the chain of command is simple.
When the order is given there is no more democracy.
The rest is like poker and lotto, the only way to win is if you play.

One thing that could drag down the spirit in people (team)
is if one of the teammates the whole time nagging about
what he dont like and that everything is bad ...bla ...bla..
that is draging down the spritit if something..
Solution= talk to the teammate about this
and take all that nagging after the game !

id like to stress out one more thing: stamina.
on b5 i saw a lot of cases of appailing physical condition. it is six months away but i suggest that those with low physical condition start working on it.
at berget games the game area is several times larger than the one from average airsoft game (several km x several km), which results on long marches and long tactical moves (flanking etc.) combined with a stressed enviroment (absolutely no darkness at that time).
so people be ready for it!

Please Gentelmen,
I think it has been preetty much pointed out that "pivo-lasko" has made a mistake. I do not think that "pivo-lasko" wanted to hurt anybody's feelings and obvious "pivo-lasko" regrets it.
so please cease fire.
Thank You.

work about your endurance, do not take 30kilos of gears if you're not used to ... I Love gears, have shiny Navy seals stuff and be like a photo take in astan or irak but i'm not a soldier I can wear these stuff for 3 hours but not more so I didn't take it at berget .... Take light setup like LC2 gear or light CIRAS setup etc ...
You are tired making a run of 20 meters because you have too much gear you will not enjoy the event, take only things you're able to carry for long march (2 or 3 hours)

All correct... be prepared for the unexpected. It's a game with many aspects and a decision of one person can make a completely different outcome for ALL players involved.
If you plan on specific tactics... be prepared that another team will be prepared for your tactics and things can shift swiftley... you have to be there too! This might cause you to be captured and "imprisoned" for two hours... are you prepared for that?
When preparing to sleep at 02.00 in the night... your enemies might think "lets pay them a visit" can you handle this? You may be tired, hungry or thirsty... but you enemy may WANT you to be tired and without rest...
So: BE PREPARED!!!

But above all..have FUN
Sorry, but some of the post have this game looking like the Bataan death march
The old military saying of "if you cant take a joke, you should not have joined" is probaly the best thing to have in mind. Keep you sense of humor, dont get pissed off at stupid tings other people do, and even if you get a bit pissed at having to do something stupid..dont poison the rest of the guys with it. Bad vibes spread fast.
Come to Berget wanting to have fun. And you will have a great time

If you have to do something not so much fun, then be reminded that the guys doing it with you are in the same situation. If they are not complaining, you shouldn't start. If they are, let them know that you are all in the fight together and should treat it as an experience. Just remember that you don't want to walk away from an event with other people saying: "man, Berget was awesome, but I wish (insert name here) wasn't such a little bitch"
