Packing List

You don't even need that really (of course it does work better than my suggested method, but if you need to pack light here's an alternative).
Wipe goggles clean with a dry towel/piece of paper, gather lots of saliva and spit on your goggles, rub it in real good with your (clean!) thumbs, rinse with plain water and you're set for quite some time as long as you avoid the inside of your goggles getting dirty/wet/etc.
Take it from someone who's been scuba diving for 9 years. It really does work.
Same thing goes for toothpaste; works wonders.

Like you say, it feels like you should know this but you can also forget even as a experinced player. But very good for new guysA_Muller wrote:The list is indeed excellent, but I don't understand how people can not think of all those items as well as an assortment of tools, anti-fog, etc.
Feels like common knowledge; as always though, excellent for new players and or very inexperienced ones.
Better to bring too much than too little in my opinion
Anti-Fig
Great tip, also spit works, handy for in the field. The same as when diving, use spit, wont fog up as fast.Redmenace_tv wrote:Anti fog tip, use washing up liquid neat and rub with a tissue until all clean.

the best solution I've found so far:Wentex wrote:Great tip, also spit works, handy for in the field. The same as when diving, use spit, wont fog up as fast.Redmenace_tv wrote:Anti fog tip, use washing up liquid neat and rub with a tissue until all clean.
use dry toilet paper, dry hard wipe your glasses/goggles clean, free of fat/other moist that makes them fog up, this works for hours (of course not endlessly). No need for any water or any other anti-fog solvent. I do this before every sunday game, on longer games like berget i carry some toilet paper with me, my team-mates find that kind of strange (in an airsoft anti-gay humour kind of way, you all know it)
and, I allways carry an extra set of glasses so I can swap them for cleaning.
Basicly what I meen is, carry toilet paper as a part of your kit, it can also have other functions for your basic needs..

Re: Anti-Fig
I can say from experience (4 years of active diving) that the spit trick never worrked for me very satisfying. Sure it blocks some of the fog, but the most sufficient way is to rub it with (for example) shower gel.....Wentex wrote:Great tip, also spit works, handy for in the field. at least that is what i found usefull the most

Even those expensive Bollé glasses tend to fog up, especially when precipitation sets in. Nowadays I use nets instead, it works great at Berget as darkness is never a problem.

Just before B9 there was a situation where a worker stepped into a childnest. He was still at emergency-care after 2weeks...Dimori wrote:Is there any viper snakes in Härnösand? I was wondering if I should pack a "viper kit" (kyypakkaus) with me, which contains hydrocortisone.
This is what you´ll maybe meet: Vipera berus (Huggorm).
There is still low possibuillity to see one and eaven lower to be bitten...
and there is more people (in sweden) dying after a wasp-sting then a snake-bite...
With normal boots, you´ll be fine....

from 1959 till 2004 there was only one death after the bite of a vipera berus in germany. According to the medics, the death of the old lady was more likely due to a weak heart and the shock of the bite than the poison itself,
so i wouldn't panik (at least when you are not allergic)

That's true, but still you could buy Kyypakkaus. I think it is good to have it in you medical kit. Hydrocortisone can also be used if you are stung by a bee.

What our team though last year was to gather the most essential, but seldom used "medical supplies" to one bag (a real medic's bag). Such a bag can contain the "snake package", things to tie sprained ankles, bandage for bigger cuts, cold packs, etc.
Everybody should bring the more used things (and personal medicine) such as pain killers, antihistamin, band-aid for small cuts, etc. And what's most important the mosquito repellant!
