If anyone is that concerned about getting hit in the face then you simply need to invest in a decent mask, keep your face looking pretty! :)

Yes so true! E

Every time someone makes something idiot proof, the universe makes a better idiot. Every time I think I've seen the stupidest thing possible, the world turns around and surprises me.

Nice one. There can always be improvised. No reason for deperation. After all, it's just a game and we can design our own roles with creativity and more or less robust gadgets and fancy kit :D

I think if you have someone in your sight within 20m and he/she havent seen you you can make that someone to surrender. It`s fun to be a prisoner in Berget games speaking from personal experience
If the player dont surrender you can always shoot but remember...not family wave on his/her head :x
It`s for fun we play airsoft :D

Roleplaying UN in airsoft is more or less a pointless joke. Especially at Berget, where they mostly get unrealistic mandates and strange roleplay from BE. :-)

UN is rarely a good element in games, but it can be made to work! We had a great time and an effective UN crew at a game last summer. The game was set in Iraq and had a couple of iraqese factions and some US that we had to babysit. Controlled amount of weapons and ammo for locals, strict ROE, mandatory training the previous night for all UN players and great roleplaying from most players -> great fun and working UN faction ;)

Was a lot more larpish than berget though and everyone spoke finnish, so not all that comparable. Also, the game didn't turn in to free for all kill-fest until the last few hours, though we did have (foam & duct tape) stones thrown at us by rioters ;)

That being said, based on my experience in the Berget games so far, I don't expect UN to work in Berget.
