Dead/hit rag

Post by Mackan52 » 26 Jun 2011, 21:15

Is it yellow or orange? Or does both work?

My commander says it is yellow but... should we buy new rags before we get to Härnösand?

a quote from Berget rules:
NOTE!
You must bring your own wounded-flag to Berget and it must be orange. Make sure the size is atleast 30x20 cm. You must pull it out of your pocket/vest when waiting for a medic.
So it must be orange. As I recall, yellow is in use only by the Berget crew.

As the rules says that your deadrag must be orange. But honest if I see someone wearing a yellow rag on his/her head and walking in the open I won't fired upon that person because I will understand that it is a dead man walking.

As long as we all use common sense (which i hope every Berget player owns) yellow will do the job jsut as well as orange.

I saw a couple of red ones this year, that's bloody confusing.

Please people, ORANGE and RED are not the same...

One of the guys in our squad had a red rag rather than an orange one. Sure, he should have read the rules and brought an orange one. But some people were being absolute retards about it and made a point of keeping firing after he had the rag over his head and/or were being extremely rude about it.

Really, I understand that it may be confusing for an instant but I do not understand what all the aggro was needed for.

Saw a example of a pale orange rag, or rather "dirty yellow" that didn't contrast at all to a otherwise khaki uniform. Unfortunately the person wearing that rag got mad at my squad member when he kept on firing because he didn't spot the rag nor heard when he called "HIT".

So please people - bring neon coloured deadrags, or at least very bright ones.
