So basically the same as PMR?
UHF radio 400-470MHz covers PMR, SRBR, LPD that are within 430-450MHz.

PMR is 446mhz, and only 8 channels. Most of the Berget frequencies were around the LPD channel frequencies. The Berget radios are Puxing 888s(not sure if K-model).

Not the "K" model. All Berget radios I have seen were "Puxing 888".

The "k"-model would be dual-band, but since berget always uses freqs in the UHF-band, there is no need for the VHF freq-range included in that model - however, it doesn't matter if you use the k, or the normal 888, both are capeable of the UHF-band and therefore useable if you want to send and listen on the freqs provided by berget.
