Berget-events have banned these in the 1.4 rules

MAX BIOVAL BB's are forbidden due to their hard shell. They can break windshields of ingame vehicles and saftey glasses.

Glass, clay & steel BB´s are strictly forbidden, transparent BB´s are also forbidden to aviod missunderstandings.

Please add alu BBs also.
They're not as hard as steel/glass, but definitely harder than plastic.

Pahapaavali: How many players you know of who are using alu bb's? Atleast I know none.. With weight of 0,30 they aren't very attractive choice of "heavy weight" bb's. And at least to my knowledge they are quite rare and expensive. If you want nice option in that weight try G&G 0,28 g bio bb's. They are quite cheap and accurate as hell.

You are probably confusing alu bb's to gray Straight 0,43 or 0,36 bb's which are (at least in my knowledge) heavy weight plastic covered with graphite. And they are basically totally out of stock in most of the stores because of Japan heavy weight bb manufacturing ban.

On the other hand I don't see any point of starting to ban for example alu bb's on basis of more or less imagined safety issues. If someone states in internet that they break things and "normal" bb's dont I wouldn't take those claims as facts from heaven. And I think that people that bring their own vehicles into game should be prepared that window and or lights can break. Car windows aren't designed to take full automatic fire from couple dozen airsoft guns shooting 0,25 g bullets 115 m/s.

Since when airsoft snipers use alu BBs? Wink

The one sold by Begadi is crap, anyway... If you want the best (field safe) sniper BB money can buy, get .29 SGMs.

Anyone shooting at me with alu bb's can expect to be removing their rifle from their ass.

I feel there is a massive difference in shooting plastic vs shooting metal/glass/whatever.

I sign up to get shot at with plastic bb's.

Damn Smile That is exactly what I did Smile never had a sniper so my knowledge level of those issues are next to none, so it would've been best to keep my mouth shut Smile

Only time I've used/tried a sniper rif was just for fun with 0.88 ball bearings Very Happy
and of course, it wasn't at a game, just for target shooting.

You mean what is it? right?

Straight was probably the best known Japanese heavy weight bb manufacturer (at least this was the case in Finland). Most of the players who played with 3 J upgrades used Straight 0,43g bb's. Little less than year ago Japan laws about bb's changed and they banned manufacturing of bb's which were heavier than 0,30 g. So these days it's almost impossible to get your hands on them.

Straight 0,43 weren't the most accurate of bb's when shooting indoors but in real game situations wind and other aspects of game field affect the trajectory of lighter bb's so much that it was valid to use those bullets. Etc if you tried to shoot them at controlled situation (indoor range) you wouldn't get anywhere as good groupings as with let's say Maruzen 0,29 SGM, Marui 0,30 g or G&G 0,28g Bio bb's (all three of those are about the same in terms of accuracy), but in the outdoor game field with 3J gun Straight 0,43g usually outperformed all those 0,30 g range high end bb's.

We use HIDD 0.30gr Bio bb's, Killer @ 100 METER with 580 FPS.
You can easely hit a person and if your hop is set tight go for the headshot if u want.
I personally know the producer of this brand, I sell his line of bb's.

Want me to ask HIDD to make new 0.43 gr weigt?
(I'll ask anyways, maybe I can have them before Berget 7)
What is the best weigt if you can choose?

Yeah right... 100m easy hits and headshots with a black (=useless for sniping) bio-bb, 2500/bag for 12 EUR... And you also happen to sell these.

This must be the best kept secret in the industry. Wink

My indoor 50m accuracy tests were in accordance with 70m outdoor tests. Heavier BBs fly farther, less effected by wind, but you also score less hits because they produce sh*tty groups and wild flyers over 50 meters. So they're only better if you spray the target with a handful of shots and hope for a hit - but that's not sniping in my book.

It's very hard to follow the trajectory of these BBs (because of the colour), not to mention long range shots. In case of a miss, it's not possible to compensate since you can only guess where the previous shot went...

Anyways, I admit you have a point, but not everyone is like that dude.

You think i'm gonna get rich from selling some bb's or something?
LOL, i'll leave that to ....

All I wanted to say is that these bb's work fine for us.
CA SR25 @ 580 FPS with 650 madbull precision barrel.
If I look through my scope, I still can see where the bb's hit.
I can make a headshot @ 100 meter if wind is still, its not eazy.

Why don't you have some good sniper bb's made? Seems you know what you are talking about?

Anyways, I asked HIDD if they could make 0.43 weigt, they will look in to it.

grtz Rob

PS sorry for the offtopic

I can also make headshots over 90 meters with my HPA/CO2 powered Asahi M60 - if I spray enough BBs on the target. Wink But again, that is not sniping... You must have a very keen eyesight to track 6mm black BBs out to 100 meters.

The CA25 is also an excellent sniper weapon with that (in)famous M16 hopup.

Ontopic: Madbull has released their heavy sniper BBs, might be a good alternative to Straights. I ordered .36 and .40s for testing.
