Re: Smoke grenades
I know cars with smoke generators have been used for events here by the game masters, but the cost of such a system is high if I remember the price right. GM laid smoke would be cool, but not really sure it gives a whole lot to the game.

Re: Vinterberget
If it gets much below -10 the hopup becomes useless in a very short time, and takes a lot of fun out of it as well. I think we should focus on keeping 75% of Berget players in game during a summer rainstorm as our "bring airsoft to next level" objektiv for now.

Re: Use of CB-radio during Berget 2013
PMR 8 channels are used as squad and platoon level coms. LPD channels are used for platoon and above. So no, people should not be using 4-5 watt radioes on the regular PMR 446 channels.

I feel I must comment something here. Other and me have said "make your own berget". As said before, that can not be by going of on your own, the chain of command must be followed at all times. If you and your squad needs more to do, ask your commanding officer. Based on my experience, most players ...

But real armoured cars do not have widows you role up and down as you want, and most modern protected pat cars dont have gunports, to stop shock waves from roadsides bombs. But it would be easier if all actions allowed from and against cars are stated clearly in the rules, and people are checked by ...

The problem with "intel" is that in a game of short duration, and action focus, you are mostly only going to get any use out of tactical information. So the way I have solved this over several games is just to have someone in hq having a focus on enemy forces, and a good recon element in the field. ...

Or if you actually take the time and effort to make a real gun turret with protection (and have it Berget Approved). Then only that or other top cover pos can be used. The fire through the widows thing annoyed a lot of players and needs to stop. But could we move all the post related to this to the ...

The real life thing is true, but when BAVS works, it's effectiveness is somewhat higher the real life systems. You only have to carry one BAVS AT-4 to get 10 shots, real life would not provide that. So BAVS systems have to be limited if mec is to have any role in game. I do not believe players will ...

I see I missed a question in thread, that I was remined of in PM, totalt nr of Poldavian forces. I do not know. The induvidual Bn commanders will have to answere for their units. I know 5th was just over 200, and 3rd was around 300. sappers 70ish, and mec around 70, with a mec platoon with no cars o...

Not to go off topic here, but getting a tarp and putting it over your tent will not set you back a lot of money. Then you will have a waterproof tent also. I stayed in one of the big "platoon" tents last year, and we rigged a tarp over it, and put tarps on the floor. Great tent then. People are allo...
