Well i just got my ticket and will play on the swedish side.
Was reading about the teams on the homepage and its a bit sad that we will be "Game style: Mostly base defence. 95 % defensive play."
But hay i dont mind seting traps for the advancing russki ^^
Man im sooo stoked about this :)
Im hoping the one in command will do a thread in the forum so we know ho the boss is.
Would it be posible to maby put up some info on basic stuff we should know.
My self i have done service in the army, but maby nott all people have.
The things i was thinking about is:
Radio disiplin (how you call some one on the radio)
Hand signals (so you dont have to shout all the time)
Basic formation when advancing and retreating.
This way people can get that down before the game.
Nothing wors then standing there and geting a order but not knowing what it means or what to do.
Well im off to be happy now, cus i got a ticket :)

Well it says in the rules to the forum that we may only post in english.
Maby there are non swedish people that will play as swedish soldiers?
Or maby we can start to speek swedish once this thread is closed to the nmy.
Or maby our commander dosent speek swedish?
I dont mind but i guess it would be a tiny bit better if we could post in swedish.
And yes that is 6 times i have writen the word swedish. (with the last one counted of course) :)

Well with radio there should not be a problem, you have a squad of soldiers, there is the commander and second in command, then there is the medic and then the radio man.
Now we can all have radios but only the radio man speeks in the radio.
Kind of like this.

Squad is in the woods, squad member 2 finds the nmy and calls to rest in squad, commander orders squad to take action as he feels is good at that moment, then he calls the radio man and tell him to call HQ and give the coords for the attack.
Radio man will maby get orders from HQ to withdraw and tells the commander this, the commander then orders "Korridor bakåt" or "Fall tillbaka"...

Ps i think i need to remind my self of the commands me thinks :)

I have to assume the Commander better be Swedish since I doubt the SWEDISH ELITE FORCE(?) will have a non-Swedish Commanding Officer defending Sweden not to mention commanding it. So I'd better hope they find someone from the Swedish Command Chain(not me) that is up for the job :)
Yeah i will not follow anyone except a Swede
Naw just kidding but i allso think that it should a Swede in command.

Well if we dont like him, then we will get rid of him... this is the swedish army.
If we dont like the orders we wont do them... where do you think think you are... the us army?
We are sweds and we can say NO... and most likly get shoot, but hay... we just sayd no to orders. :P

Now if we could only get this snow to disapear we could start playing again... yes im a wuss that dont like the cold snow. :)
